Major retail stores tend to only carry certain models of Vitamix blenders. Vitamix's Amazon account might be worth checking out since they sometimes have better deals than some retailers. The Vitamix Ascent Series is VItamix's latest and greatest line of machines. They feature a sleek design with sound dampening in mind while incorporating new technologies like NFC to help the Ascent base detect which container is attached and update blend times. They're pretty neat machines and I'd recommend anyone in the market for a Vitamix to check them out!
